In the face of women's risk of rape and abuse, patients at the National Cancer Institute wanted to help by sharing their stories of courage and bravery to inspire other women to get out of difficult situations.
"The sooner you realize, the better. Because once it has progressed, it is much more difficult to get out of it." Cris.
"Don't keep it to yourself, talk to your family and friends. Even if it is difficult, they will understand you." Tere.

If you are between the ages of 15 and 44, you are much more likely to be abused, raped and beaten than to have cancer. That's why we asked to strong woman cancer survival to give some advices to women that are in risk of suffering gender violence.
